Attorney Profile

Denise Sebald Lamborn has over 20 years of experience working in law offices specializing in family law.  She opened Sebald Lamborn Law Office in Exeter Township in 2012 where she focuses on providing her clients with the personal, hands-on service to help her clients through the complicated family law process.

She began her post-secondary education at community college in the evening program while working full-time as a legal secretary in a family law firm.  She earned an Associate of Arts Degree in Paralegal Studies in 1999 when she graduated with honors.

She then continued her studies in the evening program at St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, while continuing to work full-time as a paralegal in a law firm specializing in family law.  She graduated from St. Joseph’s University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Sciences, upon graduation, she received the prestigious Legal Studies Award, which is given to the student with the highest Grade Point Average in each area of study.

Attorney Lamborn was then admitted to the evening program at Temple University School of Law in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. While enrolled in law school, in addition to maintaining her full-time employment as a paralegal, she participated in Temple’s renowned Integrated Trial Advocacy Program, where she received a distinguished performance award.  She received her Juris Doctor degree from Temple University in 2005 and immediately began practicing family law at the firm of Eisenberg and Associates, where she was employed throughout all of college and law school.

After moving to Berks County in 2006, she began practicing law at a family law firm representing clients in Berks and Lancaster Counties.

Attorney Lamborn has worked in the field of family law and civil litigation since 1996 and her employment history gives her a unique understanding of the law from numerous perspectives.  In addition, from a personal perspective, she herself has been divorced and has been through the custody process with a small child, so she is able to provide advice from the legal perspective and also from her personal, logistical experience.  It is that personal perspective that led her to devote herself to helping her clients resolve their disputes through mediation, as the process of her own divorce and custody disputes wreaked a havoc on her family that she wishes to spare others from.  So after her divorce, when she discovered a lack of experienced Attorney Mediators specializing in family law in Berks and the surrounding counties, she knew what she had to do.  She received her certificate as a Pennsylvania certified mediator and is thrilled to be helping families through this trying process the healthy way... the better way.

In addition to the firm’s concentration in family law, she has expertise in the areas of estate planning, decedent’s estate matters, DUI, adoption, guardianship and real estate matters.

Aside from practicing law, she is a devoted mother to three small children and loves cooking, gardening, traveling and outdoor sports.
