Child Custody and Visitation

Through our focus on getting to know you and the details of your situation, together we will develop a parenting plan that focuses on the best interests of the children. We will discuss which child custody options are possible such as legal and physical custody, sole custody, joint custody, partial custody and visitation to determine an appropriate course of action.

Sebald LambornOur pledge is that your children will be treated as the most important aspect of your case. We will assist you in your custody and divorce case to conduct ourselves in a manner that will minimize the impact that this matter will have on your children.

In assessing what our goals are for custody of your children, we will discuss the various types of the child custody, including:

  • Legal custody
  • Physical custody
  • Sole custody
  • Primary custody
  • Shared/Joint custody
  • Partial custody
  • Visitation

We will make every effort to resolve your custody matter in an amicable matter. No one knows your children and their needs more than their parents. The first step in being able to effectively co-parent is the ability to come to an agreement regarding their custody schedule.

Also Pennsylvania courts have made it clear that whenever possible, parents shall be permitted to maintain a relationship with their children following separation or divorce, even if circumstances exist which warrant supervision of this parental visitation.

If visitation rights have become an issue in your divorce, we are ready to protect your parenting rights. We work with clients on both sides of the visitation issue. We have extensive experience handling parenting schedules and custody issues in jurisdictions throughout southeastern Pennsylvania.

Whether your case resolves amicably (which is always our first choice) or if it goes to court, we will aggressively advocate for the best interests of your children in order to promote their well being, which is our first priority.
